Hey Guys,
My Dad just took delivery of a NHB 2007 Euro Lux (6 Speed)
After we spent the morning playing around with all the gadgets and settings we realised it has no automatic lighting. After reading the owners book it says "some models only"
How come the top of the range euro doesnt have auto lighting.....
my theory is that is has something to do with the HID lights?
Just thought somebody here may know the correct reason...
Thanks

Cost cutting is my guess, you have to go to the USA and buy a Acura TSX to get the extra goodies like seat memory etc.
Too upmarket for us aussies...lol

Cost cutting. In the US, they get auto lights, memory seats, bluetooth handsfree built-in and more power. But the price of the TSX is close to that of a BMW 325i. Would you be willing to pay the price of a 325i for your Accurd Euro Lux?

I really don't see the novelty of automatic headlights, with HID's, having them go on/off/on/off say going in and out of tunnels seems to do more harm than good IMO.
But things like rain sensor on the other hand, I find that much more useful.

a bit off topic, but I wish the rain sensor offer even lower sensitivity. With Rain-X, even the lowest sensitivity is still too frequent.

The lower setting is called "OFF"...........

Surprisingly the TSX doesn't have rain sensing wipers. I agree, auto headlights don’t seem to be that important. However, not having auto headlights off when I leave the car is a bit frustrating. The alarm chime seems to go unnoticed to me.
