aliens? gremlins maybe?
u can't diagnose most noises over an internet forum. your car has done less than 10k, take it back to your dealer if there are any issues

if you have the bonnet and headlight protectors on, and it sounds like whistling, then it is just the air going through it..
it may also be that the windows are not all the way up..
try winding down an up all your windows again, the seals might not be sealing properly.

Maybe it's because you had the tinted windows? If you do then yes it's a wind noise. I had a slight wind noise when going from 90kmh upwards...wonder how to fix this? It would be lovely if I can eliminate that noise...and that would make long cruise enjoyable without hearing wind noise.

Why do you have wind noise after tinting?

Interesting, my '06 euro (bought 2 mths ago) generates wind noise around that speed and yes, from the passenger side. I have no tint (yet) and I did double check windows were all closed fully etc. I'll mention it to the dealer but it's good to know others are experiencing the same thing.

I have tinted windows, and I was talked to dealar, dealar give me 4 door treatment, BUT noise still here!

It's because some installers choose to bend back the inner plastic seal so that it doesn't scratch the tint. They should have bent it back and also installed the felt lining to it to help it seal a little better. But I guess most installers take the cheap route.

I've seen how they do it as he demostrated it to me, next thing I did was walk out....
Felt is the best way out... Tint Professort did a fantastic job on mine, they ran short of a few cms of felt for my car and apologised to me before running out to pick up new rolls to finish the job on my car....

Is there any way to fix this? Do I have to bring back to Honda dealer and find out who was the installer of that tinted windows? I won't pay any cent out of my pocket, if you say it's true then they will need to fix this...it's their fault.

You need to find out first if your one was indeed done that way..
Even if it is, it is not the right way or the wrong way to do it...
I think it is going to be quite hard for you to argue this, they "MIGHT" just put the felt in... Give it a go anyway and see how it goes...

That's a normal sound. It comes from the air intake. It sounds like a bad audio install but happens even if the radio is off. After switching to an aftermarket intake, I don't hear it anymore.

Yeah aaronng, thats what happened to me....tint scratches two times, third time they changed mine (not felt lining) have alot of wind noise now, no tint scratching though, but wind noise irritaing too....like panda[crx] said take it back to your dealer and make them earn there money, and fix the problem, stay there with them while they check for it otherwise you'll get something like could not duplicate or find noise could be sunglasses, seat belt, glove compartment etc, etc....easy way out for them.

I had my windows tinted by the dealer (Streetlegal tint but everybody knows' they use the local Vic Park Tint-a-Car as they leave their stamp in the glovebox).
I get wind noise at 100km/h from both passenger and driver's seat.
Do people know if Vic Park install the felt or whether I should ask my dealer to look at it?
Opinions on the most customer service orientated dealer servicing appreciated in Perth.

Just look at your window seal yourself. You can see the felt.

I thought it was normal, as in....nothing is perfect right? I have wind noise above 80km/h on both passenger and side windows I cant pinpoint exact location. Yes I have droped both windows by 1mm to close the rubber gap that lets even MORE noise in.

Well when I complained about the scratches on my tint I wasn't expecting the outcome I got. The dealer reduced the pressure the rubber seal was putting on the window and told me this might introduce a bit more wind noise. If I had know that was a possible problem then I would not have gone ahead with the fix. I just hope it's reversible now. I never noticed and wind noise before.

^ exactly, they should use felts instead of releasing the pressure which creates a gap = more noise coming in

well i spoke to the tinter that does the tints at the deALER that I get my car serviced and says he never uses the felt because it makes the windows go up and down slower and there was a chance it would blow the window motor.
And there is no point getting my tints replaced because if he is not going to put the felt the tints are only going to scratch again.

Hi, now that I don't have the LHS passenger window rattle I now notice the wind noise more and particularly at higher speeds. I discovered today that when I lower the LHS passenger window ever so slightly it significantly reduces the wind noise.
Can any one please tell me if you have noticed this too and why does a partially open window make less noise than a fully closed window??? Doesn't make sense to me.

Never tried going 240 before. Would expect all sorts of noises at that speed, especially red and blue sirens.

This had been discussed a few times before, it happens to both driver an passenger windows, the gap between the door trim (rubber) and the window is bigger when the window is all the way up, and when you release the pressure abit, the gap closes up which stops ALOT of external and wind noise. You can try this out yourself its very obvious, I've asked my dealer about this and they said its normal since all other cars at the dealer was also like that, I just wish they could've put felt in to close that gap. Its annoying, always have to wind down the window 0.5cm every time i close it, but its not something I couldnt live with

Yes, I tried this today and noticed the reduction in wind noise when I lowered the passenger window ever so slightly. I am just curious why I get the noise on the passenger side and not the drivers side. After all, the inner weatherstrip on the drivers side has been cut away to reduce scratching on the window tint. Therefore, the bigger gap on the drivers side should result in more noise???
Are you referring to the rubber at the top of the door or the rubber at the base of the window?

I had a clicking noise once but that was simply a stone in one of my tyres.
Take your car to Pedders and have them carry out their 28 point steering and suspension safety check which only costs $14. The safety check covers all essential under-car componentry including bushes and assembly parts. Then you will be given a written report of all observations.

What are the consequences of cutting away that piece of rubber? (other than increased wind noise)

i dont think there is a nail or a rock in the tyre, i think it mightr have something to do with my rims scrapping on the brakes becasue it started when i got my rims fitted on. maybe its the disk brakes, who noes, hopefully when i change my brake pads it will go away,
if not hopefully when i get my new rear and front arms put on

Need some help guys, not quite sure what it is atm but there is a squealing noise coming from one of my wheels. I can't determine which side it's coming from but but the sound is random and sounds similar to when your brakes are about to go and the metal piece is rubbing against the disc when braking. My problem is I am not braking, and the squealing is random but enough to annoy the sugar out of you. Can last for fraction of a sec or go on continuously for about 5-10 sec. Tends to start when driving over a bump or uneven surface but then it's not always the trigger. I have taken my wheels of and had a look and haven't spotted anything unusual. No rocks or rusted etc on brake disc.
