you really can't say what is best without putting in these things

1) Current Modifications
2) Budget
3) Future modifications.

You can chip your current ecu for cheap and run free software
or spend up to 8,000 on ecu. It depends!

ye chipping seems the way to go these days but you need to know what your doing, you need a wideband o2 sensor if your gonna tune yourself aswell so could cost anythin upto $400 so look into piggyback Apexi NEO system or somthing
