Is it hard to do a B-series (or k for that matter) engine swap without the original being EFI?

my mate has a carburetted eg civic breeze and we are looking at power plant options

wat would be the best avenue to pursue?

yes you can.
you change the fuel lines and tank to the efi version.
and everything else that is associated with it.

im about to do this myself soon when my money settles out (love apprentice wages).B18c1 into 92 eg gl twin carb hatch. I know I will need an EFI tank and to change the rubber fuel hoses....but are the metal fuel lines running down the tank different for EFI or will these be able to stay?

You can use carbo fuel lines, all you need to EFi fuel tank with fuel pump. You need dash wiring, firewall wiring. Pretty much you need alll the wiring except for the engine loom.

Have fun.
