General prices are $660 for a NA car and $880 for a turbo car, that’s the going rate at all the professional tuners.

Adrian from TODA will be able to tune it for you and Dyno Dave if you can get in contact with him.

I agree. my last tune for a microtec on a toyota 20v turbo was only 500$.

i think because the number of tuners is low so they can pretty much charge what they like, which is fair enough i guess cant do much but either wait for someone to present a nice cheap tuner they know or just pay for it orr just change cars :P

Tuning a turbo nissan is a little bit different to an N/A Honda

With turbos just crank up the boost and dump more fuel for more power

rnbguy there are that many tuners in Sydney it's ridiculous. You need to figure out what you are getting tuned, and then look for a tuner. Just rattling off a few I can think of: CRD, UAS, Hills Motorsport, Advan, SAS, Unigroup, JEM, Toda, Dyno Dave, Belgarage, IS Motor Racing, MRT...etc etc.

I bet nearly all the places that have been listed above can do an install + tune for you. As a **rough** estimate, allow $300 for install and tune. You want a specific recommendation, go see Hitman in Penrith. http://www.hitman.hm

It's very hard to go past DynoDave when it comes to a Honda...
Included in that $660 is 20-odd years of experience in engine building, header design and fabrication and tuning. It's worth every penny.

It's not hard to see his results- plenty of them around on OzHonda.
Plenty more if you look a little harder.

yeah for a hondata setup, but for a simple SAFC setup i wouldnt spend that much, personally.

You get what u pay for. I totally agree with that comment cause i've learnt the hard way. I recommend Dynodave  . I trust no other person to touch my car, i have 100% faith in his ability.

Of course thats my Opinion.

Best of luck finding the right person to tune your honda.

David

spoke to him on the mobile:

Me:
"do you tune safc"

Dave:
"why would we touch something that doesnt work when hondata actually works"

which is completly fair of him to say, i just assumed its a no.
