hi guys, just installed water temp, oil temp, oil pressure gauges

what's the normal temp/pressure for a B16A ?

the water temp on mine are 85-100 degree normally, sometimes it goes up to 110 but not too offen

and my oil temp will stay between 100-110 with no oil cooler

pressure is about 5.5kg/cm at full throttle, and 2.5-3kg/cm when idle

is this normal?

what degree of water/oil temp will cause damage to the engine?

i searched but can't really find the information about b16a

ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED !!

Oil temp depends on driving style. Normal driving should be around 85-95 degrees.
Oil pressure is 25-30psi at idel, 75-80psi at WOT.

the water temp on mine are 85-100 degree normally, sometimes it goes up to 110 but not too offen

Stock water thermostat/fan switch you will see between 90-100 degrees normal driving, so thats fine. Again it depends on driving style.

Seems a little high, but is still perfectly fine. You sure you weren't giving it a boot a couple of times?

pressure is about 5.5kg/cm at full throttle, and 2.5-3kg/cm when idle

78 psi (wot) and 35 psi (idel) That looks fine.

is this normal?

Yes.

what degree of water/oil temp will cause damage to the engine?

Not exactly sure.

Sorry, just back to this question. I am not sure about Max water temps, but...

With oil, it depends on the oil you use. Check with your manufaturer. You will probably find the big brands will say their oil will take as much as you can throw at it. And your engine itself will let go before the oil breaks down.

They do however have a typical range for continuous high temps that they would like you to maintain with a cooler or whatever.

Nice questions.
Hope this helps.

i got oil an oil cooler but these are my readings.

Oil pressure - Idle 35PSI, full throttle about 75 PSI

Oil temp, about 85degrees on warm days, usually around 60degrees on normal cool days. I think it hit 95degrees once or twice.

your oil temp seems on the high side.
to get 100 110 you gotta go really flat stick

your water temps seems to fluctuate quite a bit.
