The above shop has responded to how they intend to fit reverse sensors to my gen 1 CR-V. Because of the design of the rear bumper, they are proposing fitting three sensors as displayed in the picture:

Two sensors on the far left and right corners of the bumper, with one sensor directly above the number plate housing which is offset to the left.

I am wondering if the gap left between the second and third sensors on either side of the spare wheel will present a problem with reliable scanning of the entire rear-end?

Anyone?

you need to find out the angle of each "sensor".
Then work out on paper via diagrams the "viewing" angle of these 3 sensors all up. If the 3 overlap each other within the recommended distance ( for sensing) then you shouldnt have a problem
