it scrambles the code in the immobiliser unit. and if there's no black keys left (lost black keys) cant re program black keys to the unit.. instead the immob unit needs to be replaced.

some people can probably get away with it..

keep trying it and ur luck will run out.. hahah

coz my gf lost both black keys to the gli, and conveniently the car was in an underground carpark..

could only use the red key to get off steering lock tp push the car out.. and yeah immob unit needed to be replaced. coz they guy couldnt do it.. said it was prety much farked.

will start one time and one time only. and the time to start is to go to your honda dealer to get your immob replaced and new keys cut. losing a black dc2r is bad enough.. so try not to because it is a special key cut by honda.

i think its about 800 for a new immob and new key

dont start your car with that key -
big mistake! The key should have a warning on it! I had to get my black keys reprogrammed by honda :( $900
It looks just the same as the black ones but red at the top.... silly idea by honda i think.
