EK4 vs EK9

Hi all,

I own an EK4 and alot of ppl have adv to do the facelift mods.. I really wanna see and compare the difference of both as i cant really notice much difference between the two.. Can anyone help out and post some pics up?
any help will be appreciated.. Thanks!

first of all. i think u have to get ur codes and question right.

from wat i read, u're asking how to convert ur prefacelift front to a facelifted front? it is not EK4 vs EK9

when u've stated EK4, i assume u have a 96-98 prefacelift EK vtir hatch.

EK9 = civic typeR. they come in both prefacelift (96-98) and facelift (99-00)

as to wat u may need for a 99-00 convertion:
- bonnet
- front grille
- headlights
- bumper
- side fenders
- radiator support if necessary

If you got VTIR '98, and the TYPE R came out @'97-'01, why wouldn't front bumper from a 'R fit the '98 VTIR???

Yes Type R (EK9) Civic came out in '97 but got the facelift in '99, so a '97/'98 will fit a '98 VTi-R but why bother, it's the same bar except for the lip which you'd buy separately.

yes i think it is. J's for 96-98 front. cant tell if its genuine or not tho from the pic.

their 99-00 front lip looks completely different, but alot nicer i reckon :thumbsup:
