I used to have an issue with mine. But from what I read, it’s a problem with the light forming in the middle. Apparently they work in some similar principle to ball lightning. If the currents not lit and 'burning' in the centre sphere. No light will be created.

yes. have a look at them and you should see a white buildup inside mainly where the light forms (sperical area). if the buildup is also leads outside the sphere and along the tube they could be cactus.

from what it sounds like the bulbs are at "end of life" in HID terms

Wiring would be all fine as i just put them in and were working properly, it'll just flick on when i turn the lights on then will go off, the other ballast that's working will have this noise and the non-working side, the ballast has no noise coming from it...

I just got my HID Conversion kit in the mail...but the instruction kit that came with it was dodgy as...1 page of diagrams with minimal written instructions.

Anybody got the heads up for an online instruction manual? I'm sure they are all very similar.

Another prob help please!

The other day I parked my car and left my HIDs on and turned the engine off.

I was waiting for a friend for 30 mins forgot to turn it off Bloody hell drained all my battery.

I got it jump started I drove home but the next day when I turned my HIDs on the RHS was out. I swaped the light bulbs with the LHS and the RHS bulb works fine. When I swaped the ballast to the LHS it didnt work.

So it must be my RHS ballast maybe something happened when I jump started the car?

So now Im using stock bulbs for now but i want my HIDS back.

Any help how I can fix the ballast? I really don't want to buy a new set.

anyhelp would be great@!

If you got warranty, bring it back to the place you got it and get a new set.

Sorry brought it off a mate who got it awhile back.

Would anyone know if I can get a different ballast and use it with the one I got now?

Anyone repair these things?

please let us know!

if its an generic type of ballast you can get spares from ebay... roughly $60 delivered... but then again... a whole generic branded one off ebay with bulbs will set you back <$150ish..

oh.. & i got a spare ballast sitting around.. PM me
