Fitting a GPS unit

I am planning to fit TomTom 910 with 20gb hdd connecting to my stereo through snhond3 aux input to my Euro. Has anyone done this or would anyone recommend different GPS system. I heard that Tomtom 910 cannot be pluggged in permanently into car changer because it gets overcharged and dies. How is the MP3 sound quality?

I am planning to source SNHOND3 from ebay in US.

The MP3 quality on the 910 is fine. I heard it as my friend's got one. You should be able to do what u suggested by hooking up the 910 into our SNHOND3.

Good idea. Haven't heard about the issue with the battery.
