realli do you happen to know which ecu were used for both instances..

parts for the conversion wouldn't be to hard to find besides the ecu situation i believe

i dont see how just the manual converion woud make the most difference in terms of power..

obviously if i did both they it have more power over just doing the vtec..

think about how rare it would be lol vtec auto gsi

lol. I was quite surprised when my friend did a manual conversion on his silvia (NA). Made ALOT of difference.

Might want to check out if the pistons are lower compression as well.

Definately correct.

Should be able to find them in Civics, Integras and even the odd CRX (del sol shape)

manual makes a huge difference in fwkw. you can lose about 20-25kw from the auto box alone.
also having the idea to start a lsvtec and saying i dont have much cash doest go well together.
have you costed out the conversion as its advisable to build the bottom end at the same time.
the 0bd1 p28 converted to dohc (chipped) would be the easiest to use. second choice would be a chipped p30 or p72.

damn, sounds easier and cheaper to do a b series swap.

yes it is. i started a lsvtec, had all the parts too.
then sold it all and changed to a bseries swap. so much more reliable for the price.

also auto B16a have slightly less aggressive cams so less power is produced too

Just give whateva OBD1 ECU to ECU-MAN, he can convert it auto if its a manual ecu.

wouldnt it be easier to just get a dc2? personally, you WOULD want manual for some kind of frankie conversion, but hey, it would be different.
ls/vtec automatic :D
