Hi guys,
I am just struggling to decide if engine mod or a swap would suit me best. maybe your suggestion can help.
Any knowledge or experience of how much potential power increase for EF7 ZC engine(non-vtec) after engine modification?
Also, what is the $ sign for that mod? can honda parts sellers can give me a rough idea?
If I have a b18c2 complete head and cams and rocker, what components do I need to complete the whole engine ready for assembly. how much would that cost Sellers? Thanks for quoting cos I need the $ figure for consideration as well.
Thanks

i had my d16a integra da3 motor quoted for turbo full rebuild including gearbox, clutch tune and the lot, at $15k by eas performance in airport west melbourne, my choice was to sell and by a dc2r.
the better option would be to go a b16a conversion its been done and a guy makes custome mounts to make it a straight fit on this site.

hey mate d16a8 are pretty dam good but it depends how far you want to go with modding.... they wernt released in the usa so its very hard to find aftermarket parts like engine internals.... So basically if you want to go all out with a big build... intake manifold, cams , valve train etc id prolly recommend doing an engine swap and most the gear would not be off the shelf... would have to be custom....
HOWEVER
a mate of mine has a good bolt on turbo setup on his crx, gt28rs, fmic, injectors, microtec and it absolutely hammers... been for a few straps and im talking full wheel spin 1st and some 2nd. Basically because the crx is somethin like 850kg ! and the dohc d is a pretty good platform for boost..
just my opinion on your situation! good luck
ps quality bolt on turbo setup installed and tuned id say around 4k
