Ek1 Front halogens wattage

ey guys & girls ..

i was wondering if you people can help me out. i purchased halogen globes for my front headlights and dere about 100/90W (pure white). the original honda civic ones are like way LOWER .. about 50/60watts ...

i heared that if u get higher wattage, sooner or later that the wires or something will melt (over heat within the housing).

IS THAT true .. fact or fiction?

e.g. like 2nite i was driving home roughly 15mins-20mins, after i parked my car, i felt the front housing and it was HOT.

fact, that would be correct, becuaes there would be too much heat, so it could damage your wiring and your plugs.

is dere a halogen globe that is pure white brightness with about 50wattage or something..

i had mtecs 120W!
one sides burnt out (hi beams connector)
lucky not ne furter

jus need to go wreckers and buy a connector to replace it
im not ussing the mtecs neore, hids now

I think you're referring to colour temperature in Kelvins.
4300K HID's will have better light output than say 12000K HID's.

stick wif the stock bulbs, must easy to see at night..
i use to have aftermarket bulbs can't see shit at nite plus rain at night is NO - NO~

or get HID
