the dule carb 1.5
is it possable to fit a ZC sohc head
that i think is fited
its taken me ages to figer out wtf this engin is
as i can not sorce the right thermostat its so small:confused:

wot is listed in the parts books is all wrong
thay are all way to big as my thermostat is
slightly biger than a one doller coin

ZC is not a SOHC head it's a DOHC head
and yes ther is D15B4 thermo stats
just tell them the diameter of the thermo stat and they'll get u 1

its not quite that easy with my 88 cord i order 2 different distributor caps just to be safe and neither were the right one was listed for my car but not the right one lol so just had to go second hand at the wreckers

a D15B4 with a sohc ZC head is called a minie me conversion

u mean putting a VTEC head on a non vtec motor right?
ZC's are JDM D16a8 Si motors
like the CRX and the EG5 civic

I think he's confused with the USDM engines. all our engine codes are different. There sohc ZC is our D16y1 i think/

minime is a d15 or d13 with the si head from something like a d16a8
d seres dont some with dohc vtec and the non vtec dohc head flows a lil better than the sohc vtec

^^^wtf? u cant put a d16a8/dohc ZC head on a sohc block! search and you'll find out in 2 secs!

and there IS such thing as a sohc ZC. it was a 1.6l sohc dual carb motor, and was stamped "ZC". makes about 85kw. my mates got one in his eg breeze after the d13 blew up.
