You talking about my 77 model civic turbo, this is just now my daily driver, and it hasnt been tuned for ages, running 12psi on the street, but makes 137kw in a 600kg body. Also my biggest problem is traction my best time is 13.2@ 119mph on 15psi 158kw

Compak Attack was an awesome event.

We ran our new basic B20/Vtec V2 built by DynoDave. Had a couple of issues at the start of the qualifying rounds, but once we got out act together, the car started pulling respectable times.

Personal best time:
13.4 @ 101MPH 1.9 60ft

The car has alot more in it, hopefully next time we can crack the 12's with a TUNED motor and cams adjustments.

Thanks too Online for lending us the tools, DynoDave for the wicked motor, Gavin and Jason for the tips and borrwing the bell mouth intake, Hassan (MRk24) for helping out with the battery issues , and my brother for the prepping the car

Congrats to Hassan MR24R for crackings the 12's. Your finally listening to us :p

Those AH's go hard. That K20 in a light shell is a weapon

Wow

Congratz to Hassan for running into the 12 second club  . Finally crack it without bogging the car i hope. Hehehe

The boyz with the sick ass AH (k20) that car is just awesome. Got it up front and its looking dam fine. Looks like it can swallow you up.

In The Red team with the v2 b20 motor, dam sweet time with an untuned motor boyz. DynoDave did a kick ass job with that set up!

Hi comp thats an impressive time and congratz on your PB.

Wish i was down there to witness the exciting racing that was happening. ;)

WE DID IT!!!

After 2 12.0's we broke into the 11's with an 11.92 @ 114.22mph. We also did a new PB 60' of 1.71 during the day with numerous times 60fting in the 1.7's.

Joe is over the moon with the time. :D

Congrats to everyone else who competed and set new PB's. Was also great to put some faces to names.

we to set a new personal best, a 10.207@144.21mph with a 1.66 60ft, still on 27psi, we sorted out gear selection issues and it just got faster on every pass!
after the 10.20 run we snapped a caster arm and were out for the rest of the event!:thumbdwn:
im sure it will go 10.00 when we sort out caster arm,and get our 1.62 60ft back and feed 30psi in it.

Well done to the whole Honda turnout it was a very good event for everyone involved with many PB's and some new setups there and I got to see some faces that have not been out to the track for a while. To James with the H22a Yellow EG that is one of the best presented cars I have seen in a very long time and a big pat on the back for coming out and having a go .And to the Online Performance/In The Red group of clowns as normal we had a fun day with some high's and low's it really does show we do this for fun and to see 5 cars in a very small area getting worked on by the group shows the support that is given to each other, thank you Jim,Deni,Mark,Elee,Jimmy,Benson,John,Hassan,Glen&Jason all again for a great day and cant wait till we head north to QLD in 3 months for 07 Jamboree to support the QLD guys the way they supported our event this weekend. There is one car you have all forgot to say anything about the Red Gen2 B16a turbo CRX ran a PB yesterday of 10.2@144mph and was pitted directly behind our group well done with a very basic setup.

Was great to see so many Honda's out racing and all running PB's during the day, Congrats to Ilija on the 10.20, car is running very well and just keeps running faster and faster. We had second gear problems the whole day so we couldn't put on a good show, looks like our driveshaft issues have gone though which is promising, 1.52 60 footers all day.

Was great to be around all the Honda boys today, Jimmy and Bensons Civic was super impressive with their 13.4 with no tuning, Glen and Jason running well in the AH's, Even Hassan the Eskimo was running well :p ,

Was great to see Phil (Dr Honda) out there and finally meeting Elee.

Keep up the good work boys

Just got back to brisbane after the long drive from sydney! We had an absolute ball down there with all the honda boys!
Congrats to everyone on there pbs: Jimmy and Benny with their 13.4, Hass with the 12.9, Hi-Comp with their 11.9, Illya with the 10.2 and also to James (yellow h22a) with a 13.2? Bad luck to Online having gear selection issues.. I'm sure you'll have it all sorted soon!
It was great to catch up again with Jim, Deni, Dave, everyone we saw last year and to finally put names to faces of all the forum members and the IN THE RED TEAM who raced and got out there!
The silver AH amazingly got another pb of 13.80 after driving 1000km with 6 wheels & tyres, tools and load of other crap in the car! Even after driving back it hasn't missed a beat... gotta love honda engineering! The red AH also ran well getting a best of 11.7.
Again I'd like to thank everyone for all their help and support over the weekend namely Dave, Jim, Deni, Elee, Hass, Benny and Jimmy! Looking forward to seeing all you guys up here for Jambaz!

It was defitely great seeing the N/A hondas pulling new PBs. To the online boys well everyone in the N/A scene looks up to your car and we know its got more. Well done to Dyno Dave as this is a well deserved come back as the Honda scene needs to grow and a lot it is owed to you. People need to participate to make these days a big event for the small :honda: badge.
Hassan well done also 12.9 is a big number for a stock engine. Maybe i should get you to run my car.

Thats the good thing about ALLMTR in this country we are still all learning and it will only get faster and we can then put on a better show everytime we race,so a big well done to everyone that raced and put on the show we did.

The all motor class really is growing and alot more people (privately owned cars) are taking there cars to the drag strip and giving it a real hit. It really beginning to show the depth this class has to offer.

Reading the WSID threads by people like Jeremy and benn for example shows people are supporting the class and also enjoyin there cars.

With this weekend action at compak the vibe this class is getting is ABSOLUTELY brilliant. Seem like everyone working towards a common goal which is great to see. Nothing but positive energy :D :D

The thing on the weekend was the support by the shops to the young guys out there having a go if we as a group support our customers at the track the whole Honda dragracing scene will grow and that is a good thing for us all.I find the more I go to the track these days the more the boys want to race so wed nights will become a regular thing for us to try and create more interest in drag racing your street cars, its a cheap night out and its good to hang out with other Honda owners and supporters.

one of my friends had a media pass and has over 500 photos to sort thru, so i'll be waiting for a while....or relying on all the guys who had camera phones on the day to post 'em up.

for anyone who was there and saw the comps, if you have any photos, or friends with photos, i'd love to see them!! (as i'm sure others would too!!) look for the chicky in the white shirt n denim shorts for the babe comp, or the one in the orange leopard print bikini for the bikini comp, That was me!!!

ps sorry for turning this thread from the efforts of the guys who competed to the comps...those guys deserve more cred than me, think about all the time and effort they've put into their cars!!

U should consult with the Online boys about this. Im pretty sure its a good reason why they keep snapping axels. The topend on that H22 is amazing. Cleaning up the start will see them deep into the 10's no worries. PS. Is there a weight spec on this car?

PS. Has anyone thought of bringing over a couple of car's from the US to a hi-profile event? A couple of 150mph monsters??

James EG has horrendous wheel hop. As good as the Hasport mounts are made they put the H22A in the EG in a spot where the driveshafts are on a terrible angle lending itself to all sorts of nasties like broken driveshafts and CV's which he already knows about. ;)

Atleast the new shaft held out no worries. :)

All 3 brothers need to shed some pounds, before hitting the strip, lol. Have you had a chance to tune the EG yet?

Tuned that wont happen till it runs a 12 dude, dont see why I should waste time when the drivers seem to be doing a good job :D

The thing with not tuning these setups is I do not have my new dyno yet thats all and with all of the years I have been doing this I really think I have some sort of idea as to what the engines want.I really want to thank Buddyclub here in Australia for getting behind these project engines we are playing with and now building our engines around there cams/cylinder head components and the results are very good without spending hrs on the dyno trying to find every last KW out of the tune,I will start another thread on the next build so anyone that is interested in what we are playing with can see it via the thread, and the engines will now be named after the Buddyclub cam profile they use.
