Well I'm planing on getting coilovers for my S2K so I started looking around and I found this BOYZ Zero 1 coilovers, problem is I never heard of them before, their site is http://www.boyz.co.jp/main.html but there is no english so I can't get much info, did anyone ever heard of this brand and their products??? the only info I found is that they are front: 10.0 rear: 10.0 kgf/mm would that be ok for every day driving on S2K.

I'm asking this because I could get them brand new for around $1100 landend in Perth (I found it on http://www.greenline.jp/, my friend got few things from them and he recons they are the cheapest way to get stuff from japan)

i don't know about investing in something you don't know about, especially in regards to parts for the s2000.
i wouldn't take a compromise on quality, there are several other coilovers available for the s2000 as mentioned in other threads on here, that i think would be better for both the track and street.

Also not knowing too much about spring rates, etc, but i think 10/10 is very stiff for the street!

10/10 is very stiff for the street, if your planning to track your car a fair bit then they'd be ok. 1100 is quite cheap, and greenline is always the cheapest, however theres always that customs fee thing when you pick it up at the airport (bigger items only)

i only heard of the brand BOYZ through Hyper Rev magazines. They seem to do some work with s2000's.

For $1100 i guess u cant go wrong, even if they do turn out to be rubbish. If its just for the street, and performance isnt number one on ure list, give em a shot. On the other hand if u want quality u do have to pay for it, and if u ask me the spring rates a bit of a joke. I daily drive on 10kg-12kg and i dont feel its too stiff. End of the day if there no good, sell em and upgrade.

Thanks for replays guys, still didn't make up my mind, my car will be mainly driven on street plus few motosport events a year so yeah spending big $$$$ would be waste for me, I know whats good I'm just trying to find something affordable that's gonna do job for my needs.

Spending $6K on bilstien or zeals might be a waste. On the other hand spending $2.5-$3K on tiens,buddyclubs..etc might be a damn good investment.
