View Full Version : Hello with my EK please

Hi everyone,

Im new to O/H and all ready bitten by the bug.
I bought my EK1 hatch about 4 months ago its a 97 GLI hatch. Only bought the GLI because I knew I wanted to play around with it and was thinking of getting a B20/K20/H22 or B18c7.

I am now the proud owner of a DC2R that I bought smashed and now going to transplant as many parts as I can into the EK, which would be engine, gearbox, ECU suspension and brakes etc.
The DC2R has only been in a minor front end and rear end crash however the airbags are gone.

Has anyone who has done b4 this conversion have any advice on what to expect?

How bout sell the ek to repair the dc2r instead?

Too much $$$$$ to repair, and also will be registered on R.E.V.S as a repaired write-off :thumbdwn:

I'll get some money back selling the interior, doors, spoiler... thats pretty much it LOL
