Nope..Surprise Surprise, that EF's running a D16! ans supposedly stock...hahaha...The driver is pretty quick!!

I feel embarressed with a loud engine. Its still a 1.6 litre though.

I think a bulk of the engine sound was also because of the wind noise (I had my windows down) and an erm..2.5inch straight exhaust :-p

that's pretty quick for a d-series. You're car even had trouble making any ground on the straights.

Hard to see in the vid but I did gain on the civic down the straight. He did have quite a lead from the beginning, just me no confidence in pushing the car until I have had at least 1 lap.

I also made several mistakes which allowed him to extend the lead further but managed to get right back on his tail.

Interestingly, that vid was when I did the 1:14 while he was at 1:16.

mate engine sounds really good, i was just playing it then not very loud and dad came running up from down stairs wondering what it was hehe. What engine ect are you running.
I am dieing to get down that way and try out a few of the sydney area tracks. We live near Byron Bay and race mostly in Qld, at Warick, Stanthorpe, Grafton etc,. The track looks like alot of fun

not to sure if you were asking me or not, but at the moment the car is a 1988 CRX with a B16A from a 1990 LS integra, standard just with a microtec computer added. for the last few years i have been running secondhand Yokohama Advan 32R's cus i've been able pick them up really cheap, last set althought they were pretty much dead i got for a carton of beer (arrr the power of alcohol hehe) even when they are that stuff there still better than normal street tyres. I just got a set of Kumho ECSTA V700, which are nearly new so it will be interesting to see how much better new semi slicks are. The Kumho's are a softer rated tyre anyway. I have heard that the Kumho's are better for hill climbs etc because they heat up quicker, but also perish quicker, the Advan's were perfect for Warrick (2.2km times 3 laps)

what tyres u running there?
