bout $2000 ish.... mostly street with some track use... PS TEIN arent good... i have a friend that works for HSV that test various types of shocks... he does offside rebuilds and side the TEIN shocks have shitty internals... he said cusco and apexi have pretty good internals

Zero 2's > buddyclub
my housemates zero2 on his dc2r feels alot better than my BC N+.
on max setting, the zero2's are just stiff!
compared to my BC's max setting which tend to bounce like a mofo.

It all depends on what u whant 2 use ur car for...
u should consider just getting some springs if u just whant the car 2 look lowered and have a slightly stiffer ride... this option is much cheaper then coilovers...
although if u are going 2 track ur car often go for some top line coilovers like tein or buddyclub... i have buddyclub racing spec coilovers and they are very good!
If u just whant coilovers for the reason u can say 'i have coilovers' dont bother getting unless ur willing 2 put the money in... dont skimp out on cheap coilovers as they will end up ****ing themselfs sooner or later and its not worth the hassle!
hope that has helped...
:) good luck with ur hunt :)

i was under the impression TEIN HA or australia modded super street were pretty good. I'm looking to use these for street use, no track work, so how long should these tiens last?

i was also under the impression tein were decent. i am in the market for new coilovers as well just for street use. If tein arent any good then what is the recommendation. Budget: about $1000

To many TEIN haters on this website. Alot of these haters dont realise how many different coilovers TEIN have to offer. From cheap Street models to customize your own track setups.
Some have bought the SS model and gave it a bad rating just because it didnt meet there hard driving/track work expectations.
So stop giving a great brand in Coilovers a bad name. Keep your ill-informed and un-researched comments to yourselves.

OK i got my coilovers delivered to me today, now i just want a confirmation from someone who knows what they are talking about, to answer this question before i take it to a workshop to get it installed.
Will i need DC2R LCAs to install coilovers made for EG6, to install it on my DC2 VTIR? These are Apexi N1 ExV dampers, very nice sussy.

ALL of J's Racing products are made in Taiwan (yes, even the titanium exhausts). Does that make J's Racing stuff SHIT? Have a think about that one.
Just to put an end to the Buddy club confusion. ALL BUDDY CLUB SUSPENSION IS MADE IN JAPAN.
