CD 2.2 engine with Vtec, sunroof, but no leather seat

CG 3.0 v6 engine vtec, sunroof, leather seat, but i might drink a lot of fuel

afaik, the cd6 is the jdm cd5 sir (with a h22a). did u mean the CG/CK accord (built in US/thailand, the cd5 was built in jap) that was released in 1998? in any case, the v6's fuel economy will not be as good as the 4 cyl but it certainly isnt horrible. up to you whether u want to sacrifice economy for a bit more power.

and what are you on about with no leather in the cd5, all vti-s's had leather interior...

up to you really but i think u should have done a bit more research so you actually know what car ur talking about and what they have :)

hey mate, first question, do you live in australia? cos the models you are referring to may be international models. we only have the 4cyl CD5s in aus.

the later model, CG had the V6 and 4cyl, with a further update into the CK accord, same engines, but better noise, vibration and handling controls.

yeh man. different CD5s to choose from:
EXI = no sunroof, no vtec (forget about this one, jokes to EXI owners)
VTI = vtec yo, sunroof
VTI-s = vtec yo, sunroof, ABS, leather seats

CD5 and CG look different to each other. I personally prefer CD5. :D

A manual EXi is suprisingly quick. No kidding you, but a manual Exi (SOHC non-VTEC) driven by a good mate on the straight was faster than a JDM H23A (DOHC VTEC) CH9 Accord Wagon Tiptronic. And a few others can bear witness to this claim.

Zooom Zoom CD5 OWNER FTW !!! LOL !!!

EXI might have advantages of having light weight from engines and cabin stuff too .. compare to others :p

OR !! EXI drive was better? :) hauhauhauha ...

well.... we never had the cd6 in aus...

so.... as everyone said more research is probably best for you, so you actually know a little bit more on what you really want.

the CD5 (94-97)
is only 2.2L 4cyl here but:

exi is non-vtec

vti/vti-s is vtec (bit more torque and a few kw's but is weighed down by the sunroof and other extra vti stuff-if you are looking at it from a performance point of view)

personally i love the cd5 but in the end its really up to you.

ALSO

the CG5 also has a 4cyl version (VTi as well)
its got the vtec engine with a 2.3L (has more power - 3kW & 8Nm more)

would get really close fuel consumption between these models.

or if you want leather and sunroof theres the CK accords VTi-L
with the same 2.3L vtec accord.

hope that helps.

btw try to avoid the V6 accords cause they have a big problem with the gearboxes.

but in the end its up to you which model you choose.

hope this helps. im bored hahah

Faster off the line but not faster after that. Pretty even I would say

Then take into consideration that the CD6 is 200Kg lighter and that I was listening to my favorite Britney Spears CD

cd5 or cd6(dual air bag) are the way to go but leather seats have more option like climate control and electric seats

From factory, only the V6-Ls came with sunroofs.

VTi-L = L for low emission engine F23Z, NOT F23A. All series 2 accords 01-02 come with leather interior.

best is to get CD, we have more parts compare to CK or CG.

so easier to modify and lighter than CK/CG :) personally think CD look much better :p

haha. yeah go CDs. they're starting to get old tho. so u'll get the usual problems popping up. its an endless debate so choose wisely. or just get both. i'm thinking of getting a CB accord update as well. they're so damn handsome.

Drew once again your just jealous i raped you! LOL

Yeah CD5 EXi Manual would kill CH9 SiR Auto off the mark but being more torquer at higher speeds the CH9 will quickly pick up its grounds and probly chew the cd5 up.
