Hi Guys

I have an 04 Euro Lux that came with 16" wheels. I bought a set of 2006 Honda OEM Euro 17" 9-spoke rims and have put them on my car (with new tyres of the standard size - 225/45 R17).

The guys at the tyre shop simply too off the older wheels, and whacked the new ones on. I got a full alignment done - nothing else.

QUESTION - Is there anything else that I need to do? Like any suspension adjustments or any other settings at all?

The car drives MUCH better now! :)

Thanks!

The tyre shop would have balanced the wheels so that is everything covered. Nothing else to do except maybe notify your insurance company.

yup i think thats it - balancing & alignment.

perhaps you could check the tyre pressure and make sure the valves are all tight and no leaks.

Oh and apply some wet look stuff to make them shine :)

As long as they've balanced your rims and tyres that's it you're good to go.

Thanks everyone for their advice and comments! much appreciated.
I bought the wheels from eBay. A private seller in Sydney... $585 for 4 brand new wheels (technically second hand but they were only on the car for a few Kms - so brand new for all practical purposes).
