tweeters in dash

Hi, Does anyone know how to remove the tweeters in the dash?

why would you want to remove it?

To upgrade the front speakers(splits).I did.

you just pop it off using flat head screwdrivers.

yeah, you can pop it up with only screwdriver, replacing with what sort of tweeter may i ask?

I did mine.I replaced the tweeters and the speakers in the front doors with Bostons.Mind you i also did amps, rears,sub,dynamat etc.

just remember that the stock tweeter is very small, your aftermarket one will almost likely be larger and won't fit into the cavity. I had to glue mine (focal K165P)
