appently this is a common issue for plp who got got the ticking/hissel noise after installing xforce header on dc2s.
i took the car to my machinc 2day to check out wot the noise was, there was a leaking in between the header and the engine block, the header does not completely joined/closed with the engine. this due to the little bump on each end of the engine block. so i had to get em shaved off. and now its all good

Would this be a problem with other headers (more up market brands)?
Or just the X-force ones?

not too sure.... just check the joint under the header u will see the black mark if its leaking

yes, very obvious car was clean and just this dent showing up. Good job keeping it that clean though.

i had the same prob but when i was getting the my x force headers installed my exhaust place actually shaved back the header so i didnt have to machine the block,,,lol
anyways u never had that prob at all...
it helps to get the headers fitted at a good/ well known exhaust place......

now you can put the car on the dyno and get some real numbers :)
its a sign of header quality
