hey guys just a quick one,
After I got my service done today I realised that my car pulls to the left so I have to drive with my steering wheel apprx 5 degrees to the right to keep it on a straight line.
Should I just get a wheel alignment done? or maybe my tyres mayeb flat?
Can some one advise what the problem might be and How do I fix it?
thanks agen!

seems like a lot of civics tend 2 pulll to the left.... mines been doing that and i've had to wheel alignments done.. in regards to your problem, obviously you yourself can check to see if you have a flat tyre, and if thats not the problem then yeh Wheel alignment

Nah nothing touched in regards to suspension.
Just a typical major 120k service
I do know they tested tyre pressure though so Ill pop out to pump my tyres up now.
If its still pulling then ill get a wheel alignment done.
thanks guys!

I have this same problem as well... It happened when I got all four tyres changed and a full wheel alignment, only to find out that the left front control arm was bent.
But even after I've fixed it it's just pulling to the left around 5 degrees as you mentioned?? Time for another wheel alignment :(
Check pressures first. If ok - check the tyres. I think your tyres may have worn unevenly due to poor alignment - so when they rotated them during the service it has thrown off the tracking. You should rotate your tyres more often so this doesn't happen.

here are a few things i do at my work to stop cars pullin to left
1st tyre pressure check and inflation as required
test drive
2nd still pulls try a left to ryt swap on ur tyres if not directional
otherwise u have to do front to back
test drive agian
3rd if continues to pull or now pulls right its safe to say its ur tyres
which means if u didnt rotate front to back and rotated left to right
then rotate front to back and balance them otherwise ull have a balance problem
4th have the car on a w/a hoist and cheak readings and have adjusted to fix
if readings are are outa spec bad means car has possibley got somethin bent
5th lol still problems bring to my work ill stop it pullin lol
hope that helped u

Speaking of wheels alignments, what are the differences between normal alignments, thrust and four wheel alignments - and ultimately what is the recommended one?

haha k
most cars now are only toe adjusatble so that means normal w/a
but they are some cars that are also =front and back toe adjustable which means a 4 w/a
thrust w/a is everythin adjusted if possible i think not 100% sure i think its jus a sale gimmec on a normal 1
but yer some cars can be cmaber and castor adjusatble with shims and they are also expensive w/a
but lets say ur camber is bad and not adjusatable a good wheel aligner can adjust ur toe to stop bad wear that will be casued by 2 much neg camber

Well I recently got the front left control arm replaced and a 'supposed' wheel alignment from the local mechanic. When I first picked up the car it was still leaning to the left so I took it back for them to take a look at it again. But the car is still leaning around 5 degrees to the left after the mechanic said they've taken a look at it and gave me the reason that it's leaning to the left because of the cam of the road???
I thought it's a load of BS so I tested on an even surface of a carpark and it's still leaning left when the steering wheel is straight!!!
Any thoughts or recommendations to where I can get a 'good and proper' wheel alignment?
