Call up your dealer beforehand to let them know you have a problem with your CD player so they can allocate more time on that day to do your repair.

Dont switch of the engine while the CD is ejecting or loading next time.... I always try to switch off the HU first before turning off the engine.

To reset your HU just pull out the fuse from the fuse box for 30 seconds before putting it back in. It forces the HU to reset to default.

I'm not with my car atm, but if you can find the fuse box under the steering wheel on the right (if i remember correctly) it should have the fuse labeled on the cap of the fuse box.

Otherwise have faith in your holy Honda car book...

ummm philips cd-r...

I use Ricoh CD-R (but not anymore) and Verbatim and Ricoh CD-RWs.

I have a few phillips here and the production quality of the disc looks good, unlike the no brand ones which have uneven thickness and rough edges.

Ask your dealer's service advisor whether it is alright to use burnt CDs in a 2006-07 Civic. If they say no, then they are feeding you BULLSHIT.

Did you wait for the light to be green before stuffing the CD in??? If not you could have jam the changer mechanism.
