How do i find the offset on my wheels/rims? people are asking me but cant seem to find it? Also what would it look like, i had them on a civic, if it helps. Thanks

they should be stamped on teh inside. if not, get urself a measuring tape and measure face of inner hub to half width of rim. difference = offset.

if you were to put 17" rims on your car would it still be +42?
or even 16 for that matter?

It has nothing to do with wheel size, it is wheel width that is the issue.
