Just wondering when i get my b18c will i need to get a new gearbox ?
i find my gears to be really short in my EK1 first is like NOTHIN and just pretty much rev's out very quickly i understand that im not ment to be doing 100 in first but i would like to get up to 40-70 in first.. and will a tune fix this ?

Yes you will need a differend (B-Series) gearbox. It would be easier if you can source a halfcut which will inlcude everything you need. But im not sure about your mounts.

The b18c, either type r or VTIR is still a shorter ratio box, than your D series box.

They are the sportier models

its better to have shorter ratios on b18c. As they are NA 4cyl it isnt really advised to get greater ratios as they lack in torque

as said any B series hydraulic gearbox is needed.
Either off a EG6 , EK4 , EK9, DC2 or a DC2R. You probably should get a gearbox in your "halfcut" if its included

Ummm, the screaming is half the fun with VTEC engines....... Why would you want to stop it :confused:

Spunk Sorry mate i totaly forgot
and for the screamin part i love to hear it scream just wonderin if i can get a long first and second as it tends to shutter when i drag it to far and i want to drag the it out
