ok, give me sum help. wat it does, will it help the umm F22B1 performance wise?

are they all universal. what type would i get if i was to get one...which brand has been proven to give optimal performance and quality...

what can i do besides exhaust/headers to my accord and i dont want forced induction... what mods will give me extra horses..

thanks all

it wont help performance one bit mate. All they do is regulate the fuel pressure in the fuel rail. If you dont have major modifications, you wont need one. The adjustable ones allow you to change the fuel pressure up or down, but yeh more fuel without more air just means wasted fuel and less power.

Next step i reckon would be cam and headwork most probably if you wanna stick with the current engine, otherwise its time to think about an engine swap if you dont want forced induction

should i change my regulator? I have h22a with stock accord fuel regulator.

should i change my regulator? I have h22a with stock accord fuel regulator.

Id be putting a H22a regulator on, I am unsure if there the same as the F22
fuel pressure for a F22B1 & 3 is
MT 265 - 314 kPa AT 206 - 255 kPa if the JDM H22a spec is different change to the H22 regulator.

AUDM H22A1 specs

MT 255 - 304 kPa AT N/A

okay, forgive my ignorance but where on the front cut will i find the regulator?

its at the end of the fuel injection rail

so if you just put in the H22 and didnt take off the reg from the F22B then you should already have the H22 reg on :)

its got a vacuum line going to it.

ill take a photo of it from a F22B1 if you really want.

ok you suggested getting new cams..... how much would they cost, wat brand? easy to fit--? how much to fit...how much needs to be pulled out before fitting?
ohh shit yeah..wdf does a cam do LOL, how does a new one increase performance?
cheers fellaz

This will give a better explanation than any one of us will be able to type out: http://auto.howstuffworks.com/camshaft.htm

For F series engines you have to get a regrind, which is basically a stock cam with some grinding done to the lobes to change their lift and duration. I think Crower do them, among others

[acronym:e1dc0e5a06="Engine Control Unit"]ECU[/acronym:e1dc0e5a06] man, will getting a new one give me any more noticable power or waste of money?

waste of money on stock engine. unless you go turbo or any other mods requiring highr fuel pressure, dont bother.
