This may be a stupid question.

When tuning the emanage, i know you can tune in +-1% increments.
Does this mean that by increasing the percentage you're adding more fuel (richening) or decresing it(leaning it out).

The english manual says "fuel adjustment", but then when doing the basic wiring it doesn't hook to the injectors, just to the MAP sensor wiring, so initially it seemed like you'd be adjusting airflow in a sense.
But then given the example diagrams where they reduce the low revs and add to the higher revs, it sounds like they're leaning out the mixture for daily driving and making it richer to be safe in the high revs.

Just wanted someone with experience to clarify for me.

Thanks guys.

The MAP sensor wire is used for A/F trim.
Both richer & leaner by affecting the MAP sensor output aka VAFCII
The same wire is for the clamp function to prevent boost cut in some cases also.

The Inj loom attaches to each injector wire, adding an additional earth to add more fuel.

The ig loom runs the whole ignition system through the E-manage to control ignition timing.

In all cases the percentage change is relative to the E-manage maps, not those in the std ECU.
All changes made are trims to what the std ECU is doing, so often the maps can look a bit odd. Especially when compared to a standalone system.
Hope that helps.
Cheers
