Funny noise? DC5R

Hi all, After a pretty intense run up to Mt Glourious one weekend (Brisbane) in which I was pretty heavy on the brakes ect... soon after I noticed a strange noise. Whenever I go to take off in 1st gear, as soon as I let the clutch out there is a small clink/ping sound that seems to come from the front right side, it also happens sometimes when I give it a bit after a gear shift from 2nd-3rd. I think it's coming from the brakes but it's hard to tell as it might be coming from CV too. It's not very loud but noticable never the less. Will be having a 15000 service next week so I'm trying to get some info..

Anyone else had this problem?

It ended being a faulty tierod :-( I am glad it's covered under warranty.
