Hi people,
Anyone have any idea of how to install the start button like shown in the picture?
Is it hard to do it our own?
I was looking for the button over the internet and it will cost something like 70USD (Ignition brand). I dont know where to find the button exactly like the S2000's.

Any suggestion of how to install and where to get the button?

cheers

Im pretty sure you can get them off the internet. Especially the s2000 kits, i saw one from Great Britain that was 126.76AUD buy it now which isn't bad. A mate of mine put one in his DC2R, he replaces it from those little circle vent things near the stearing wheel. Good spot! They looks mad but u still have to put the key into the ignition :p

yup .. but we only need to turn the key into I which is accessories, II which is (dunno what it is called) and III will have no effect at all isnt it? unless we use the button...

Start buttons are more of a WOW factor for your car.

As far as I know, you have to turn your ignition to 'Start' then push the button.
Why not turn your ignition one more time, and your car will start.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys?

pivot?

pivot seems to offer more security compare to the jdm start button.. but i think i prefer the 1 button ignition or 1 button jdm start button.. look more professional and it fits in nicely with my car i guess :P

yeah man that is true, its mainly for the WOW factor, well atleast thats what i rekon

but you can cut the start wire so it only starts when you push the button

You have to turn your ignition to 'ON' then push the button, you can just wire it so that both the key and button can start the car... That way if ur lazy you can still use the key
