Hey guys
I know the D16Y8 Intake Manifolds meant to breaths slightly better than the D16Y1..
So is it a worthwhile upgrading my D16Y1 Intake Manifold on the cheap?
Maybe help with my Turbo setup down the track too?
Thanks

IMO for the gains ( nothing on stock , alittle with a turbo or worked engine) its not worth it.
Look at other mods if you dont have em - light weight flywheel etc.

hey dude :)
best to ask him why then. From what ive been told ( off d-series.org) the Y8 is the best D series inlet mani , allows teh best airflow , best mid range due to the intake runner length etc. It might be a better thing if you intend to turbo the car later on. But now , dont bother.
