New CRX owner

Just came across the forum as I was looking for parts on the net. Must say its a huge sight with 12000+ members (congradulations to ozhonda)

I have just purchased a 88 model CRX and have a huge list of mods I will be undergoing. I own a workshop out Seven Hills which is where I will be doing all the mods and work. I just wanted to come on and introduce myself and hopefully pick up a few tricks from the honda veterans and a few bargins along the way..

The car we purchased is a dead stock white CRX with a black bottom half.. littke rough around the edges but perfect for us as a base to start our mods.. I hope to make a few heads turn with what we have in mind..

I've always like the shape of the CRX but never liked the fact that its FWD.I will be scouting around for some cheap parts and some much needed info about these cars.. (can never have to much info)

Nothing secret about it.

Car will be 4wd, no point in going just RWD as the amount of work involved for the gains I personally dont think would be worth it. Not just that a small car with such good handling abilities why not take advantage of the AWD. I am looking into 3 cars at the moment

I am looking at an EVO this week (under the car and a few measurements) so I will decide as I check out each car which I way I will go..

At this stage I am leaning towrds WRX for a few reasons.

We are flat out at the moment but car will be off the road within the month.. Wasnt even going to buy a car yet just this bargin popped up and I couldnt let it go..

This car will be for sale (like all the cars we build) so if anyone is interested start saving :)

Ill be sure to post up progress reports for all to see.

i totally agree. I think I speak for alot of people in here when I say that we would like to be updated with this project - meaning details and lots of pics hopefully! I hope that you will share your venture with us all the way from beginning to end. :thumbsup:
