i think i f**ked up my clutch

hey guys can anyone tell me wats wrong wen i downshift and i hear a tapping noise..coz i just full killed my clutch on the way home from my friends place coz all i can smell is clutch and it was arlite for abt 10mins but wen iwas like 5mins away from home all i could hear wen i down shift was the tapping can any one help?

it could be the bearings on their way out hard 2 say is the tapping there when it idles in nutral or onli wen u down shift n u hear it for a sec or 2

You shift too quick for your own good :P

the sounds dont mean that you HAVE to change your clutch, its there s still good bite in the clutch, then my recommendation is to hang on to it for a while and get through the rest of the meat. The thing isnt going to fall apart as a result.

UNLESS, you just want to upgrade your clutch anyway, i recommend you get a lightened flywheel at the same time

New HD clutch, Fly, n new oils .. :) that will give you peace of mine and wont give you problems :)

you dont want to make it worst by keep driving it...

watch out for your gears syncros , once its ***ed.. u need to rebuilt gearbox :wave:

hahah .. std clutch kit $250 + and labour $400 + .. so about $700 to fix :zip:

lol dw i got free labour and cheap parts from GPC's lol so not too bad
