View Full Version : Help!!! remove the front grille

i try to remove the original sports front grille.
after i remove the whole front bumper, and 2 screws of front grille, it still couldnt be taken off. seem to be adhibit together with the front bumper.
poor english, sorry.
anybody can help? thanks a lot

hi there,
You on the right track mate but you still need to remove 6 plastic clips that attached front grill with the bumper as you can see from the pic.
All 6 red airrows are points that you have to push it from the back to release the front grill.
Tip. Dont push it too hard otherwise you will break it. Using flat type screw would help.

thanks guys, actually i have done those clips, the only thing left is that i found that my grille is glued to the front bumper. how can i take it off

That's weird... :eek: Agreed with LSD GD3, you have to figure out what type of glue it is...

Or may be just take some snap shot of it and post it here so I might able to give you more specific advise. :thumbsup:
You might try the heat gun that use when you install the window tint.

Pretty weird, yours is the First one ever to have glue on the grille.

You just blow hot air to glued area and hope that heat would make glue softer so you can remove the grill more easily. :thumbsup:

I am curious as to how the glue got there in the first place. Yours is the only one I have heard of with glue on it.
