I've managed to get my hands on some King Springs a while back and have never gotten the chanced to get them in.

I've got old school BC's right now, 17 x 8.
Looks rather wide.

I'm wondering if there's a possibility that if I get my springs on, the rims may be too wide and hit the guards?

several factors u may consider..

are the Kings 'low' or 'super-low'? L~40mm SL~50-60mm drop

wat offsets are the BC?

how much clearance u have atm wth them wheels on?

assuming u currently have ur car sitting on stock springs/shocks wth the BC on. i suppose best way to estimate is by measuring the gaps and clearance urself, see if the guards' any close to hitting after the drop.

also remember the more you lower your car the more negative camber you will get. so it may tuck in.

i dunno ..mayb its just me? :)

but i wont take camber into account for these kind of rough estimate. bcos the amount of camber is not definate until the actual drop.

what are the offsets of the wheels?

also another thing to consider is what tyre width you wanna run?

As long as offset is suitable for your car and depending on the tyre size you want to run then you can run as wide as you want.

Though, not running correct tyre specs can affect handling
