Unfortunetly i was the only honda there last night. It was a very slippery oily track. Went out for testing 60ft and mainly to decide gear ratios. Will be out soon to break that 12 onced tuned (HINT DAVE)

Thanks guys its alot of research and the k24a is so different in set up to the k20a. Even though there from the same family the torque levels are astronomical compared to a k20 and getting that power down is proving to be a mission. Hopefully with a little help i will get it in the 12's in full street trim NO weight reduction as a normal daily driver.

just do weight reduction, nobody knows and nobody cares...they only look at the time..

yeah, but running your car at the strip with no weight reduction, running it as is, is alot better anyways, lol.

normal "weight" reduction is the rear seats and maybe the spare tyre - about 15kg off all up. With all it in the time would hardly change on most cars lol.
But some people refer to weight reduction as hardcore stripping and pulling everything out. We need to clarify lol , as i ran a easy 14.1@ 99.6mph with no weight reduction :P

No weight reduction at all as you see it at the strip is what you will be coming up against in the street.

that's how my car is too! hehehhe

Are you running real street tyres or "street tyres"?

keeping a close eye on progress ;)

yeah thats the best way.

Doing it in your street trim is the best way. Some people have weight reduction built into their street trim tho ;);):thumbsup:

Street legal tyres if we want to get technical.
