I am paying $338 and I'm with Allianz. I live in an area with one of the highest comprehensive insurance premium due to it being close to the city and considered an industrial area. My comprehensive cover is $1800 for a stock car and I'm over 25.

I think CTP is more expensive if you don't have comprehensive?

I think CTP is more expensive if you don't have comprehensive?

I thought that too because they ask this question when applying for CTP

also age and where you live

Does any one know where you can go to get some quotes for green slip and insurance without having to go to each and every insurer on the web or individually calling them?

Thank you for your help.

If you read the previous posts above on page 1, you would find the link. ;)

Greenslips are getting more and more complex in terms of underwriting. Whereas one there may have been 2 or 3 risk factors considered, i know we just implemented a new underwriting struture with the release of stage one LTCS which blew us out into so many different prices that it was not worth mapping them anymore.

Generally, and under 25 will always suffer, as evident through the above prices, recently the industry has imprlemented increased pricing based on risk associated with 25-29yo. Insurance is a factor for some insurers (it is with us) some insurers even consider your demerit history.

Its becoming more and more complex. Stay tuned for increased levies from the government for implmentation of LTCS stage 2

Thanks for the link to getting CTP quote for all the major insurers.
But any thing like this for insurance quotes?

Thanks,

Not for insurance quotes because it is not compulsory and hence the MAA didn't get all the insurance companies to use the same system for their comprehensive cover. BTW, try Shannon's insurance for a quote. They seem pretty good but with extra options unlike Just Cars.

true to an extent aarong, and its an interesting concept because the health insurance industry has followed suit with a site which compares different insurers, i wonder how long itll be before motor insurance follows
