I am looking at buying a 1994-1997 Accord VTi or VTi-s(it will be my first car:) ), although i suppose that doesn't really matter, and i was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how much it would cost me to drop the car 2" or 2.5", front and back(same drop). Thanks.

depends on what you wanna do
you can cut or compress coils (free)
or you can buy adjustable coilover suspension or airbags
anywhere between free and $4000

i wouldn't be able to afford airbags, i'd probably be looking at buying a new set of springs....basically the cheapest, about how much would the set me back at somewhere like 'pedders' or 'beaurepaires'? Also i have been told (not on this site) that cutting your springs can deteriorate the quality of them, is this true? And how far could you compress stock springs without the ride becoming unbearably uncomfortable? thanks.

you get what you pay for, budget about 800 bucks at least for some decent springs. Its your first car so you'll probably crash it anyway.

Alot of places do front and rear King Spring drops for $350-$450.
Supply and fit drive-in drive-out.
Also get your bushes checked out and it would be a great idea and cheaper to replace them at the same time. That might cost you extra $50-150.
That should give you an idea.
