would it be better getting a car painted before or after a conversion?

after as the car could get scratched ect during the ect.. but if u whant u can get the engine bay painting just b4 the engine is put in so it matches the body... ??

get it painted during lol so that way u can paint inside ur engine bay they put the engine in then paint the outside after:D so that wat you wont have like a white car with a diff engine bay colouor lol

i rather before, so i can paint the insides as well, but as others said, they might scratch ur paint

During and make sure you are careful when you put the motor in.
What you need to do is do the conversion, remove anything that you will not be using on the car from there on in...
Remove everything again
Paint the car
Reinstall everything
That way you know that everything fits and you can make alterations before you paint the car
In the industry it's called a test fit

Just take the side panels & bonnet off when working on it

I think best is to paint the engine bay first b4 you put the new engine in, so you wont take your engine 2x, save you on labour.
