Do basic mods like I/H/E require tuning/ECU adjustments?

It depends who you speak to. In my opinion there is no real need to tune (but I am sure others will disagree).

agreed

you can get it tuned, cost abouit 600, not worth it. might aswell wait till u get some more serious mods to tune it

What is considered serious on an NA engine?

What car/engine are we talking about? Also do you have an ecu (or equivilant) in mind?

cost:benefit wise, after getting i/h/e its not really worth it, IMO, HOWEVER, the fact is, if you get it tuned you WILL get some extra power and it WILL most likely drive smoother, its just that the gains here will be minimal, and it wont be cheap.

if you were doing something like installing ITB's, aftermarket cams then you'd be crazy not to tune, as there is much more potential for drivability/power as a result.

that is my n00b ass opinion, wait for ecu-man or slowGSR to reply and theyll give you a more comprehensive answer
