short shifter vibration/buzzing

Does anyone have a short shifter that vibrate or buzzes? i jsut got one and the bottom part was shorter than stock so i jsut put a couple o rings inthere to fill up space but didnt get enough so it still vibrates a little.

does any one know a more ideal way of stopping this buzzing? would the shifter bushing kit eliminate this? or any other types of bushing i could get?

its not touching the exhaust is it.

nah there is plenty of room i think the just vibrating on the connection to the shift linkage. but i dont know what to do to alliviate it.

more o'rings ... lol, i used some spacers that came with the short shifter and washers from my skateboard truck's axel then pinched the bolt up nice and snug so there was no play. between the shifter and linkage and the bearings could still move as intended.

Try Nylon washers.. I've heard they can help reduce the vibration a fair bit...
