the top left hand corner of your fuse box theres a 15a and 7.5a take those 2 fuses out

, or just disconnect the red capped (positive) and leave off for about 5 minutes.

yeh dude.. i checked everything about 10 times lol!
do you think maybe the airbag has been deployed once already?

na its impossible!
if the air bag was deployed it wouldn't be in the state its in. cause the airbag rips open the steering wheel from the center.

isn't the srs reset somewhere else?
afaik theres a separate ecu for the srs, abs and car itself

vinny is right you need to reset your SRS system. I just submitted a DIY article on how to do it.

There's review process, before it's avaliable. Should most likely be up today.

AGGHHHH!! i cant get this happening! even with that step by step thread! with the EK is he referring to the connector underneath the air bag of the steering wheel or behind the actual dash??

it's time you give up and take it to a dealership

i didn't think the CTR and EK4 SRS units were compatible? one has the computer in the wheel the other in the kick panel. I thought only Coupes/ludes/S2000/EK9 were compatible.

*waits for ECU-MAN or a EK4 owner to correct me*

I have a EK9 steering wheel fitted to my EK4 without any problems. I just plugged it in to the original EK4 SRS plug and off I went.

Sorry Patrick I couldn't help, the only thing I can think of is the SRS unit in the EK9 steering wheel is faulty. Like Barefoot says take it to a Honda Dealer to test the SRS unit in the steering wheel and the car?

Ok the reason I am asking this is because I have seen eBay selling perfect looking type r steering wheels for very cheap prices but they clearly state that they cannot guarantee if the airbag would work or it’s still there, and at the same they sell guaranteed airbag intact steering wheels for normal prices. That’s where my logic is coming from.

Honda will charge $33 to test it and tell u what the problem is......
