I own a 97 hinda integra gsi. and the previous owner installed a remote switch for turning on/off the monoblock amp.

and i took out the amp and the signal wire which sends a signal to the amp to turn it on i wraped up..

but for some stupid reason i thought it was the grounding light just then and attached it to the chassis. then i turned on the car(engine not on) and i flicked the switch.. then a little "pop" noise came from the speakers and the h/u and the clock stopped working..

any ideas how to fix it?

ps:i wrapped up the signal wire with tape and but it away now.

it's the "backup" fuse in your engine bay fuse box

replace it..

u possibly popped a fuse. check those to see. u should always disconnect the battery before doign anything ellectrical on ur vehicle, to prevent surges etc. it also prevents u from ellectricuting urself.

nope! but i foudn which fuse.. and brown one which is 7.5
found it by using the honda manual.. HHAHAHA who thought it would eva come in use..

then drove to a servo like 1min away bought 2.. just incase i flick it agen..
and now everything is A.OK.

but if i just wrap the signal wire with tape.. and accidentally flick the switch when drving will teh same sht happen? lol...

ps: my 2nd hand car has dodgy wiring. anyone know who will be bother to rip out all my trim and fix it all for a cheap price?
