i think the first australian crv to have the k24a1 came out in 2002..either that or give or take a year

k24a1 & a4
compression: lower then k24a2 block but dont know figures for both
revs to ~ 6500 rpm
5 speed manual
K24A2
compression: 10.5:1 (according to ozhonda somewhere cant remember)
revs to ~ 7000rpm
6 speed manual

all have 'i-vtec' but only the k24a2's vtec its more for 'power' the other 2 more for fuel consumption
