What does everyone think of Nitrogen?

i notice with my other cars using air, they all need to be pumped up every few months cos of loss of pressure.

My last set of rims and tyres had nitro in them and it was still normal pressure after 1 and a half years.
My new set now have been there for about 3 months(with nitro), will see how they go.

am i just imagining or not?

ppls view plz

i had it done, the theory is because the molecules are larger then normal "air" which is oxygen/nitrogen and other molecules air loss is minimal which in turn gives even tyre wear (sp?) to make them last longer

i heard they are less prone to expansion and contraction

That's the one!

Doesnt expand/contract so the pressure isnt lost gradually.

they are sposed to keep a more consistant tyre pressure
but my friends experience at track with nitrogen and semi's show they still increased tyre pressure by a fair bit under race conditions

but i think normal street driving its alrite
