i have installed SAFC2 in EK1 with dyno tuned. it was great result at the wheels 84.5KW with 380-400km per tank with BP 98rons.

last week i have installed a Nology Hotwire and HKS stock replacement filter, do i need to retune it? if so, do i need to try other tuners? at this stage, what do you guys think?

would my car hp goes up and fuel consumption goes up as well? any difference from difference dyno brand machine?i am in Perth. if you can recommend someone for dyno tune, it would be great.

the more power you chase the more your fuel consumption would have to be

have you got any other mods done to car?

just retune it when you get more mods then a panel filter and leads...

nah no need need to retune, in future u might want to change your exhaust system or a better intake set up. :) so i suggest not to...

Ignition will not give you much power anyway..

EH ? SAFC? not VAFC??

SAFC gave u 22kw..
Were u get it tuned xspeed???
I had similar result but in HP,, then i went to another dyno and track and found no gain at all...

Y dont u activate the second map in your AFC and see how it runs with untuned map see if theres any difference..

Xspeed seems to manipulate data. if you looked at your dyno sheet.
they use 105 fuel :p and might use 25 deg cel on all temp :p check check ...

My A/F ratio line was dead straight in the graph that xspeed gave me...
once on another dyno i noticed that it wasnt even close to what their print out showed...
Not even after hours with the PFC can it even get close to how straight they printed it out..

you should try the phone book

from your posts here, sounds like, you like to be spoon fed.

how much(you can ring and ask yourself after you found thier number in the phone book), where( again, phone book), all these little questions that if you put a little effort you can find the answers yourself.

they are not the only workshop

Ring around, ask questions to the person that will actually tune your car

i have tried couple tuners in perth already. most of them are over promise under delivery. i was seraching in yellowpages already. cos i could not find anything there, then i post it here. This is a reason i made this thread. ask the tuner, what a joke. if the shop want to get your business, they must polish their skill and experience for sure. i perfer ask their customers rather than ask the workshop. cos peoples in this forums will tell you the truth, like locate has bad experience, he shared it here and 040501912 he suugested this tuner with his positive experience. by the way, what do you mean "they are not the only workshop?"

try call up
RPW <- friend had a good experience in here.. (???)
Ovaboost <- locote favs place LOL !! :p (???)
Hyperdrive <- work side by side with allstar "Friends" ;) (chassis)
Allstar Garage <- I like it here.. if car doesnt running well bring back :) (HUB)

May be go Xspeed? but i dun think its a good idea. bad personal
experience from there.

so you mean the guys from hyperdrive is working with allstar? hahaha

040501912
25-06-2007, 08:52 PM
Sort off.. they swap cars arround. and both have their own respected tuner. few months ago Hyperdrive doesnt have Tuners. so they ask Allstars

Hyperdrive = RWD/FWD nissans LOL !!
Allstars = AWD Mitsis, wrXes

and my car was done by boths work shop .. LOL .. intermediating between them ;)

i have tried hyperdrive before and they were good on tuning but the staff there a bit cocky. i may try allstar. is all star new to market? cos i remember there is a workshop in o'corner is call all something and their mechanic is from honda north.
