to answer your question the D16Y4 is obd2 and the D16Y1 is obd1, so yes your right.

You cant really classify a d16y4 as an obd2. it is different to all.

yes you can. Its OBD2. Its just not the same as the other obd2 honda's.

Technically yes but people get caught out when they get told its OBD2 when it doesn't have any similarities to a normal Honda OBD2a/b.
