Hi, I have heard this can be done, but want to know if it is a straight swap or has the brake rotor have to be changed too?
I'm looking at changing the brakes on my 06 RB1 and this is one of my options I'm considering.

Should be fairly straight forward; most likely will need a new rotor

NA1 NSX caliper fitted straight onto my CH9 SiR Accord Wagon; even the same pad. Only difference was that the NSX caliper is twin pot not single like the original.

Most Honda calipers are interchangeable as long as you get rotors to suit

Where abouts are you located?

I'm in perth.
Actually it doesn't have to be dc5r brembos, just thought they be cool to have on an odyssey, any suggestions on another other brand? Looking for 4 pots.

Thanks.

I asked the people at my honda dealership today when I sent my Jazz for servicing about swaping brakes with dc5r on the Odyssey. I didn't know that the Oz spec ITR is actually only a Type S in Japan and didn't come with Brembos.
The reason why I'm thinking of changing brakes is because I found it very difficult to brake when the car is fully loaded with 7 people, nearly crashed into the car infront a few times.
Might just change to Mugen brake pads and SS brake lines first, while I look around for suitable brake upgrades.

have seen AP 4 pot been installed on RB1 with flwg spec n should be no problems with Brembo as $ is not a concern:

*AP Racing 4 pot CP5200 caliper
* Exzess 330 x 28mm Brake rotor
* Ferodo racing brake pad

Anybody has any idea where I can get Slotted rear rotors for my 06 ODC in Perth? I've tried calling DBA and RDA brakes, both also don't have for my Ody .... Thanks.

The size should be 305mm and the thickness 28mm right? need to worry about the stud locations?

Yah, contacted one to ask for Mugen Rear slotted disc rotors, waiting for reply. Checked out Project Mu before, they don't have rear disk for Odyssey, plus the blue colour on the PMu discs will not match my JBT mini 4 piston front brake kit callipers which are red.

Don't know of any other brands that make the slotted rear discs. Anyone can recommend?

ic, you might interested to check out the Honda Access in Japan for the slot f/r rotor which are red in color. in addition, not that expensive too

I looked at that option before as well, but haven't seen any trader dealing with Modulo parts. Would you know of anyone of them?

Hi Hinezz,

Thanks for the link, but I've already got a 4 piston Front Brake Kit with 330mm slotted rotors and braided brake lines, now just looking at slightly improving the rear with slotted rear disc to mate with my stock callipers and mugen brake pads.

Just got a quote back for Rear Mugen Slotted Rotors... might go with that to be sure it fits.

interesting :D remember to post pics after installed. btw, wondering is it possible transplant the whole front brake (rotor & caliper) to rear order to improve performance?? am thinking to upgrade the 4 pot with Project Mu at the front.

Never crossed my mind to try that, but I doubt so because the mounting points would most proberly be different... I'll ask when I get the brakes get fitted.

I asked about the Project Mu kit before... was abit out of my budget so I didn't bother. The blue would be an interesting colour

Unfortunately no pics yet, I'm still waiting for tires and Rims before installing all at one go. Have to do it that becuase after I fit the brakes, I can't use back the original 16". Have to upgrade to min 17" depending on design.

It's a Taiwanese brand called JBT, it's not top of the line, but the price does fall within my budget and apprently it works rather well.

I've also gotten a G-Max Solaris 18x7.5 +42 offset to see if the rim will fit the calipers and rotor. Waiting for quotes on my tires, response is pretty slow
